Former State Sen: “Gov. Palin the Cherry on NJ’s Sundae”

SarahNET-Radio-O4PStates

We need to stop with conservative and liberal labels and promote traditional values, former NJ State Senator Dick LaRossa said on this week’s Palin Update with Kevin Scholla. “Honesty is gone from the entire political system,” and only traditional values can restore it, he said. Scholla said former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has endorsed who she believed was right for the job, whether the candidate is an incumbent or outsider. “She’s absolutely dead on the money when she” speaks about traditional values such as freedom and Constitution. “I’m glad she is blazing a new path,” LaRossa said.

He continued, “I’d love to see her in the Garden State. I think she is a magnet. We have…80 to 100 Tea Party groups. If I put the word out there that we were going to bring Gov. Palin in, I think you would see an outpouring of tremendous support for her across the board….the Republican intelligentsia might not be right there, but I guarantee you, the people would come out in droves.”

Scholla and LaRossa spoke about New Jersey’s uniqueness from its rural northwest to its beaches. You can cross the entire state in 90 minutes, ski in the winter and swim in the summer. LaRossa said, many New Jersey residents “would love to see Gov. Palin,” and the state will be hosting the forthcoming Super Bowl. “Gov. Palin would be the cherry on the sundae.”

LaRossa said Republicans can win in a Blue state with the right candidate and message, by speaking to values not labels. In New Jersey, Republicans need Democrats to win. Scholla pointed out that Gov. Palin worked with Democrats in Alaska on her core accomplishments.

LaRossa heads Solutions for New Jersey, which is a 501 (c) 3 organization dealing with charity care, government debt, crime, property taxes, and school funding. He announced lottery drawings from 1980 to 1992 and sang for 30 years with a Swing band.

Scholla met LaRossa at Gov. Palin’s Schiavo speech. “Many who went were not fans but walked out convinced,” LaRossa said. He said people should hear her first-hand rather than pay attention to the caricatures painted of her. Scholla said, “if you do actually look at her great accomplishments and her unique style, it’s pretty hard to walk away with a straight face and say, ‘she’s not on the ball.’” LaRossa amplified the point. “I think she is tremendously on the ball. She is incredibly bright. She makes a great visual presentation. … She did almost an hour speech at the Life and Hope event and did not miss a beat. She was so incredibly engaging. It’s impossible for someone doing an objective evaluation not to come away incredibly impressed by that lady.”

Steel Resolve: On Benghazi

“Contrary to what Hillary thinks, it does make a difference to understand why things went down the way they did that night. Understanding why and what went wrong will help prevent it from happening again,” Sarah Steelman said. “Not one Democrat is willing to stand up to the Clinton-Obama machine to find the truth.”

Gov. Palin: Obama had better clear this up today

20130501-142942.jpg

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

20130501-134051.jpg

President Barack Obama had better clear this up today, right now. Surely he is just allowing his handlers to throw up this kind of ridiculous, amoral, un-American trial balloon. I call on Obama to address this immediately with the American public, clear it up, and renounce these reports as the nonsense they surely in God's name must be.

Trial Watcher Details Gosnell Abortion Horrors on SarahNET Radio

SarahNET-Radio-O4PStates

Rev. Frank Pavone is the guest on The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla! Pavone, a Catholic priest has attended the trial of Kermit Gosnell and he’s here to talk about the gruesome murder case. While reporters largely ignore the Gosnell story of baby butchering, Pavone, the National Director of Priests for Life, has been our eyes and ears inside the courtroom. Get the truth on this horrible story of infanticide and the media cover-up. While Sarah Palin speaks up for life once again, President Obama attends a gala for radical Planned Parenthood, a group with racist and eugenicist origins. Also, Governor Palin features a Mark Styn piece on the Boston terror bombers and demands answers on a curious move by the Army regarding Bible verses. Plus, Sarah Palin’s sister accomplishes a big feat with her feet and we have an update on the assclowns in Washington and their big nerd prom. Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary with Sarah Steelman is featured as well. This week she looks at Soren Kierkegaard, deception, and Obama.

Kermit Gosnell’s Alleged House of Horrors

Kermit Gosnell, a late-term abortionist is on trial, facing charges of multiple infanticides. He was acquitted on some of the charges and closing arguments on the remainder could begin as this story goes to press. The sickening Grand Jury Report documents Gosnell’s alleged neck snapping and spinal cord snipping of babies who were born alive from his botched abortions. He was alleged to have thrown butchered, but still living babies into toilets and shoe boxes as they desperately tried to breathe. A woman who came to him for a partial-birth abortion allegedly died while under sedation. In Pennsylvania, abortion up to 24 weeks is legal, however, killing babies outside the womb is illegal, according to the Grand Jury Report.

Obama has been a strong proponent of partial-birth abortion voting for it several times as a Senator — one of the few things he actually voted on. Obama infamously voted “present” over 140 times in his short Senatorial career. Last Friday, while Gov. Palin delivered her pro-life and human dignity message in Las Vegas, Obama was heaping praise on Planned Parenthood, which stood silent on Gosnell’s alleged atrocities. Bold Colors, no Pale Pastels.

Rev. Frank Pavone, National Director, Priests for Life has been watching the Gosnell trial and provided a detailed account of what is unfolding in the courtroom. He met former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin at the Terri Shiavo gala. Priests for Life “is a movement within the Catholic Church to educate people about the problems of abortion and euthanasia.”

Trial Opening Eyes about Horrors of Abortion

“Eyes are being opened about the horrors of abortion. People think because they’re legal that they’re safe and that is a myth. People are astonished that this man killed babies even outside the womb. Pro-lifers have said all along, ‘this is what abortion leads to,’” Rev. Pavone said. “This man is charged with so many crimes it would be pretty hard to imagine him not getting some sort of severe punishment.”

Abortion Distortion

The media is burying the story because of “something called the abortion distortion,” Rev. Pavone said. All the rules pertaining to media, business, and legal practice are bent out of proportion to “protect the so-called right to abortion as a sacred cow.”

He continued, “We even saw it in the Grand Jury Report” on Gosnell where the state authorities looked the other way as Gosnell allegedly committed one infanticide after another as a routine practice: murder by numbers. “The vast majority of secular media support legal abortion and do not want to publish anything that will cast a negative light on it,” he said.

Faith, Common Sense, Reason Direct us to Speak Fearlessly

Scholla noted that priests generally don’t speak about politics.

“We have to speak fearlessly. Our faith tells us that. Common sense and good reason tell us that. We need public servants who know the difference between serving the public and killing the public. To assert that is not partisan; it’s to assert the meaning of government which is to protect life,” Rev. Pavone said.

Scholla said he could not finish reading the gruesome Grand Jury Report which documented the allegations of Gosnell snapping necks and snipping spines, among other horrors in Section IV, pages 99 through 117. The grand jury’s indictment also alleges numerous instances of shocking medical malpractice, unsanitary conditions and malfeasance.

Exclusive of Gosnell’s alleged actions, “abortion is horrific across the board. We have records of babies being dismembered in the womb. You can buy medical textbooks that describe how abortion tears the arms and legs off and crushes the skull. These are legal procedures happening every day across America. The Gosnell trial is pulling the veil off all abortion. I hope that people come face-to-face with what has been a hidden, long-standing form of violence in our society — that is abortion,” Rev. Pavone said.

What is Happening at the Trial?

Scholla asked if Pavone had a sense of what is going on at the trial since Gosnell was acquitted of some of the murder charges.

“There are still several babies on the chart in terms of murder charges. The defense is having a hard time defending him and hasn’t called any witnesses….it will be interesting to see what the closing arguments have to say,” Rev. Pavone said.

“Will Gosnell situation change the mind of some who are pro-abortion?” Scholla asked.

“Yes. This Gosnell situation will certainly help those who are pro-abortion — or who like to call themselves ‘pro-choice’ say ‘look! There are limits. There is a certain point at which the life of the baby does require protection and take precedence over a choice. There are limits to how much an abortionist should be allowed to get away with. That’s the lesson that’s coming across in this trial. There are limits and this man transgressed them,” Rev. Pavone said.

Rev. Pavone on Gov. Palin’s Schiavo Speech

Scholla asked Rev. Pavone how he thought Gov. Palin did with her Terri Schiavo gala speech spreading the message of hope and life.

He said, “She was wonderful. First of all, she was so gracious to accept the invitation of Terri Schiavo’s family. Of course, she was very aware of the whole drama that unfolded eight years ago. Just her presence was such an encouragement to the family, whom I’ve come to know very well.”

Rev. Pavone continued, “If she had just stood up there and said, ‘hi, I’m Governor Sarah Palin. God Bless you all,’ the family would have been just as encouraged….she was really sharing her heart and for a much longer period of time than we expected — and happily so. Again showing her generous spirit of really wanting to help the cause of this family having gone through such a tragedy now reaching out to other families who are facing similar challenges. She wanted to affirm that and she certainly succeeded in doing so.”

Obama Admin’s Political Alliance with Abortion Industry

Scholla said Gov. Palin is “keeping up the fight” and mentioned her Shareholders in Life speech delivered this past Friday in Las Vegas, along with the work of another prominent pro-lifer, Alveda King. He asked Rev. Pavone his thoughts Obama being the first sitting President to speak at a Planned Parenthood event.

“There is a high degree of intimacy between the abortion industry and this administration, and in fact with the higher echelons of the Democratic Party. We see that across the board in many ways, and this president is brazen in his support of abortion. Some abortion supporters in politics say, ‘oh I’m pro-choice,’ they spout a few slogans and leave it at that. This man jumps right into the fray and pushes it un-apologetically, which should get our attention really across America, especially when we see the horrors of abortion being revealed,” Rev. Pavone said.

He continued, “It’s a political alliance….and the money from abortion is going into the political coffers of so many of these candidates. This is why they’re so unafraid to show their support for what is in Planned Parenthood not only the nation’s largest abortion provider, but also more and more is being revealed as a criminal enterprise itself, as they cover up sexual abuse and are running clinics that break the law in various ways.”

Abortion, Euthanasia Violate Classical Hippocratic Oath

hippocratic-oath

Abortion and Euthanasia absolutely violate the classical Hippocratic Oath which was written in 5 BC, to wit,

I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art” (emphasis mine).

This text has been stripped out of the Hippocratic Oath when it was modernized in 1964, and the classical Oath is rarely recited in medical schools today. This is partly understandable, since the original Oath is sworn to Greek gods and goddesses. A strong argument could be made that even the modern version is against abortion and euthanasia if only by implication.

Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

The Hippocratic Oath’s original intent, however, leaves no doubt that doctors are absolutely prohibited from performing abortion and euthanasia in any way, shape or form.

Steel Resolve: Obama Chooses to Believe Lies

“I admit, I can be a bit simple-minded, however, I like to call it good old common sense. Soren Kierkegaard, the great Christian philosopher and writer suggests there are two types of deception. One is to believe what is not true. The other is to not believe what is true. What category do you think President Obama falls into?” Sarah Steelman asked as she opened her weekly Steel Resolve segment.

She continued her monologue about the Boston bombers, “these punks were self-declared radical Islamic extremists. Most of us normal people have come to that conclusion simply by reading all the evidence that supports the facts. Yes, we have multiple layers of intelligence agencies examining every aspect of the Boston bombers, but their hands were tied by this president.”

“In fact, the Obama administration in 2011 purged information from the FBI training manual that would have helped to identify and stop this kind of terrorist. Information about the warning signs and connection between the bombers’ kind of religious fervor and terrifying acts of Jihad were deleted,” Steelman said.

“The result is that this administration is not doing its job to keep America safe. It is imperative for the President of the United States to take a strong leadership position, stand clearly, stating to the world why America will not tolerate Islamic Jihadist terrorists or any terrorists and just call them what they are. Say the words. Make the case and let the world know why. We must know our enemy to defeat our enemy. This is no time for political correctness. Our country’s safety is at risk,” she said.

“I am fearful that the President falls into Kierkegaard’s first category. The President believes what is not true. The President chooses to believe a lie,” Steelman concluded.

@AGUGrizzlies: Use The #Obama BS Removal Kit To Remove #Coexist BS

AGU-O4P

On Friday morning the car that was carjacked by the suspects in the #BostonJihad had the peculiar COEXIST bumper sticker displayed on it.

The bumper sticker is made by the Coexist Foundation who strive to create an understanding across religious divides with a sticker.

The sticker has a peace symbol, a pagan symbol, the yin-yang symbol, the Star of David, a gender symbol, and last (but definitely not least) a cross.

coexist sticker

We are not 100% certain…but perhaps the Obama Bumper Sticker Removal Kit will work on Coexist Bumper Stickers too.

Many people who were embarrassed to drive through their own neighborhood with the Obama Bumper Sticker have bettered their lives by the removal of the Obama BS (bumper sticker).

THE OBAMA BUMPER STICKER REMOVAL KIT

Since the Obama BS Remover even works on the Prius, we have hope that the Obama BS Remover could also work on the meaningless Coexist BS too!

Good luck!

Our work continues.

Stock Act Gutted While we Watched #BostonJihad

AGU-O4P

by Whitney Pitcher

Late last week, with very little coverage and without even an official vote, the Senate and the House repealed a key provision in the already weak STOCK Act that was signed into law last year. As I wrote in a post on Sunday, prior to President Obama’s signing of the bill:

At the end of last week without even a vote, both the House and the Senate approved a repeal of a portion of the STOCK Act. The STOCK Act, signed into law last Spring, is a transparency and ethics law aimed primarily at Congress and their staff. The law requires those individuals to disclose their conflicts of interests (such as stock purchases) and prohibits the use of non-public information for private profit. However, the bill also applies to many higher ranking federal employees as well. With the repeal of the portion of this bill (if signed by the President), two components of transparency will become opaque, as detailed by the Sunshine Foundation (emphasis added):

The bill enacted last year would require already public financial disclosures of senior congressional and executive branch officials to be put online in order to prevent or root out insider trading. There were concerns that some provisions of the bill were overbroad and would put some government employees at risk. Rather than craft narrow exemptions, or even delay implementation until proper protections could be created, the Senate decided instead to exclude legislative and executive staffers from the online disclosure requirements.

The sweeping exemption goes even farther than critics of the disclosure requirements requested. For those to whom online disclosure would still apply (the president, vice president, members of Congress, congressional candidates and individuals subject to Senate confirmation) the Senate bill made electronic filing of the information optional and struck the requirement that online information be searchable, sortable and downloadable, making even the disclosures that remain in the bill tepid and relatively unusable.

President Obama later signed the legislation on Tuesday. Not only did the federal government cloud their already opaque transparency, they did so in an equally non-transparent manner, as Brian Lerch, Illinois AGU volunteer and Conservatives4Palin contributor wrote on Wednesday:

Well, it seems as if the politicos on DC feel the public has forgotten about this and they can go back to their old ways, since they pretty much decided to gut the bill. This was all shoved through in record time, and without any transparency, of course. This is one issue where people on the left and right can come together, as a left-wing website, politicsusa, has a pretty good write-up on this. From the piece:

What could make the House pass something in 30 seconds that the Senate also passed? What would motivate them to put aside their alleged “differences” and act in the best interest of the people? The answer is when they are not acting in the best interest of the people, but rather, in their own best interests.

To that end, late last week, your congress quickly approved a measure that modified (aka, killed) a part of the STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act ), which was only enacted a year ago. The STOCK Act was supposed to address shady stock trades based on insider information.

The bill went from introduction to signing by POTUS very quickly:

4/11/2013 Introduced in Senate

4/11/2013Passed/agreed to in Senate: Introduced in the Senate, read twice, considered, read the third time, and passed without amendment by Unanimous Consent.

4/12/2013 Passed/agreed to in House: On passage Passed without objection.

4/12/2013 Presented to President.

On Tuesday the 15th, the President signed the legislation.

In today’s data-driven, information age, if such government information is not online, it is essentially useless to the American public. How will constituents be able to hold their leaders and their leaders’ staff accountable if such information in not available online? If such online disclosure is merely optional, there is little motivation for politicians to be voluntarily transparent. Why did a bill that received overwhelming support in its passage last year receive unanimous support in its gutting, especially when it was a weak bill to begin with?

The fact that the STOCK Act even got traction at all was due in overwhelming part to the work and research done by Peter Schweizer, Governor Palin’s former advsier. In 2011, Schweizer wrote a book called Throw Them All Out which detailed insider trading, land deals, and other corrupt behaviors exhibited by Congress and their cronies. Many of these details were highlighted in a 60 Minutes special as well. Schweizer’s work lit a fire under Congress enough that they passed legislation requiring themselves to be more transparent.

The STOCK Act, although a start, doesn’t have a lot of bite. When it was being debated in Congress, Governor Palin called it “particularly weak” and was more supportive of a tougher bill proposed by Congressman Sean Duffy that never made it out of committee. That isn’t to say it doesn’t have value. When the STOCK Act passed, Schweizer called it a “victory”, but also noted that the bill didn’t go”nearly far enough to deal with the problems of cronyism and corruption that we face.”

What does Peter Schweizer think now that the STOCK Act has been weakened even further? Schweizer spoke with Dr. Gina Loudon on Friday to share his thoughts on the repeal of key provisions of the bill and the media’s limited coverage of this legislation, which he characterizes as the media being “lapdogs instead of watchdogs”. Please see the interview below:

Our work continues.

Gov. Palin: 100% skewed White House priorities

20130412-120903.jpg

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

100% skewed White House priorities: The Blue Angels' wings get snipped, but the White House party with the 1% rocks on…

20130412-113902.jpg

"I'm so sorry to hear that the Navy Blue Angels and the Airforce Thunderbirds have been forced to cancel their performances this year. These two amazing groups have provided inspiration for millions over the years and have served as a terrific recruiting tool for all branches of the armed services. At least they're still boogying in the White House."

SarahNET Radio: ND State Rep on Life at Conception, Abortion Laws

SarahNET-Radio-O4PStates

North Dakota State Representative Dan Ruby stops by The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla to discuss a measure that could effectively outlaw abortions! Ruby talks to Kevin about the specifics of the legislation as well as other bills that stand up for life. During her speech at the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s Award Gala, Sarah Palin said we are gaining momentum in the fight for life. Strides in North Dakota and Kansas prove just that. We’ll look back at Governor Palin’s heartfelt remarks. Mother knows best. Governor Palin showcases a video featuring some astute American moms. Plus, Fisker Automotive’s Karma, an Obama pet project, goes the way of the Edsel, Governor Palin recognizes World Autism Day, and an Alaskan Easter. Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary with Sarah Steelman is featured as well.

Life Begins at Conception…

As Scholla opened the show, he said both Kansas and North Dakota have passed measures stating that human life begins at fertilization. In Ruby’s case, the process began six years ago with an attempt to pass legislation stating that life begins at conception. Now, he is working on it to be included in North Dakota’s state constitution. Its inclusion in the state constitution would not initiate a ban on abortion. The language is “foundational” and builds on existing language in the state Constitution which is similar to the federal Constitution regarding life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As such, the language defining life as beginning at conception would not be stricken as unconstitutional. As the measure is drafted, it will be on the 2014 general election ballot, however, it could be put on the primary ballot by amendment.

Planned Parenthood’s Idea of “Shameful”

As the bill was being debated, Ruby noted that existing North Dakota legislation defines seeds, pits, and buds as plants. “If a seed is a plant, how can an embryo not be a human?” he asked. Scholla noted that Planned Parenthood railed against the measure calling it “a shameful day in North Dakota.” He asked, “what does that say about Planned Parenthood that they would call protecting life ‘shameful’”?

“So much of what they stand for is shameful. I can’t believe the positions that they take and the things they are willing to defend,” Ruby said. He continued, “I think a lot of it is under false pretenses. When we push legislation, we hear the most extreme cases.” Ruby said abortions for rape or incest are rare; the vast majority are for birth control or convenience. “I don’t think we have the right to play God like that and determine that lives are expendable, because they’re inconvenient for us,” he said.

Heartbeat, Fetal Pain, Admitting Privileges Bills

Scholla asked if heartbeat and progression of pregnancy come into play, along with a fertilized egg being a legal person. Ruby answered, “They’re different bills. The heartbeat bill is a bill that puts language in our Century Code — our Book of Laws — that would ban abortion once a heartbeat can be recognized….there’s also a bill that deals with fetal pain, and I believe that’s at around the 20-week range. Of course, that is left somewhat open as to when that can be determined.” Ruby said a heartbeat can be determined at between 14 and 16 weeks. Another bill requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges with a hospital.

“It was a pretty good year for North Dakota, the unborn, and the pro-life movement,” Ruby said. The heartbeat and admitting privileges bills were signed. The constitutional language does not require the governor’s signature. The fetal pain bill was sent back to the state Senate because it has an amendment and could go to a conference committee.

Gov. Palin a Pro-Life Warrior

Ruby has gotten more support than backlash on the bills. He said people have gone after other legislators more so than him, targeting particularly pro-life women in the legislature. Scholla noted Gov. Palin’s pro-life record and asked Ruby what he thinks of her pro-life stance, adding, “she’s been a warrior.”

“Yes, she has, and I’ve always appreciated that about her,” Ruby said. He continued, “I admired her for taking that on at the national stage. I don’t think she is out of the mainstream on that. I think that she says what I think the majority of Americans believe and I really appreciate what she does for the cause.”

Conservative Successes in North Dakota and Kansas

Scholla said a lot of other good conservative initiatives are taking hold in North Dakota. Ruby said the state has a surplus, the oil industry strong, people are moving to the state to work, and wages are rising. He said the recession in many other states have gone largely unnoticed in North Dakota. The state’s worker’s compensation and unemployment funds are solvent, and budgets are balanced.

Scholla reported that Kansas has followed North Dakota’s lead. Legislation has passed the Kansas House and Senate defining life as beginning at conception, prohibiting abortion clinic employees from providing sex education in schools, banning tax credits for abortion services, and requiring abortion clinics to give details to women about fetal development and abortion health risks. It also outlaws gender-based abortion. The strongly pro-life governor Sam Brownback will more than likely sign it into law.

Steel Resolve: The Greatest Tragedy of Obama’s “Politics of Hope”

“‘In the end that’s what this election is about: did we participate in a politics of cynicism or a politics of hope?’ Guess who said that? You guessed it: Barack Obama,” Sarah Steelman said as she opened her Steel Resolve segment.

“Most of us understand what the politics of cynicism is, but what the heck is the politics of hope? One thing is for sure: there is no hope in the jobless numbers released this last Friday. Only 88,000 jobs were added to the economy this quarter. Many economists blame the rise in the payroll tax which hit consumers’ wallets. It is also important to note that the job participation rate is the lowest it has been since 1979. None of this is surprising to those of us who know anything about economics.”

“President Obama continues to argue for more government benefits and more regulations, despite the writing on the wall, or in this case, the statistics that his big government, big spending policies are not working. What is even worse is the human toll that is hidden in the job statistics. Those who remain unemployed or who drop out of the workforce suffer more than just lost wages or income. It is demoralizing and hopeless for many of our fellow citizens who cannot find work to take care of their families. This is greatest tragedy of Obama’s ‘politics of hope,’” Steelman concluded.

Gov Palin: Once again, American public lost when Obama Admin Picked Market Winners, Losers

sarah-facebook-o4p

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

Once again, the American public lost when the Obama administration attempted to pick “winners and losers” in the free market. Today the electric car company Fisker Automotive, which received nearly $200 million in taxpayer money, is laying off three-fourths of its U.S. workers.

The Anaheim, CA-based start up has failed at pretty much every level – especially when it comes to the company’s ultra expensive luxury electric hybrid, the Karma (what a name!), which is assembled in Finland and received a green-energy loan to transition the assembly to the U.S., something that never happened.

This losing tax-subsidized venture joins other past losers like the Obama-subsidized Volt that gets 40 miles per battery charge, or like the Obama-subsidized Tesla that turns into a “brick” when the battery completely discharges and then costs $40,000 to repair.

This is really just the latest manifestation of the administration’s crony capitalism as their green energy buddies benefit from this atrocious waste of taxpayer money. Americans really need to get outraged by these wasteful ventures. As we’ve seen time and time again, We the People are always stuck subsidizing the left’s “losers.”

So what’s the solution and where do Americans go with our outrage? Stand up against the crony capitalism and elect only those who understand and will let America’s marketplace dictate economic successes, instead of letting politicians (some who have never run any business nor even worked in the private sector) choose free enterprises’ winners and losers. Take a stand, friends. Nothing will change unless you do.

As always, one must listen carefully to what leadership says

dome-of-the-rock

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

As always, one must listen carefully to what leadership says, or fails to say, in analyzing current affairs. During his trip to Israel, President Obama said, "It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of her own." Of course, as people of good will we would like everyone to have the right of self-determination and God-given liberty, but we also have to ask ourselves what has been done to establish the circumstances necessary for that. It's been observed that a Palestinian child cannot grow up "in a state of her own" because of Palestinian leaders' decisions.

There seems to be nothing on the horizon to change the mindset of those who would raise Palestinian children to hate and be intolerant of Jews, Christians, and other "infidels." Bottom line: until that changes and until the Palestinian people become genuine partners in peace with Israel, little movement towards peace can be made. This is tragic for all, including those Palestinian children being indoctrinated. I hope our President understands this and could acknowledge it so the public could better understand the conflict. We can't be naive to the causes of this centuries-old plight, and we mustn't fail to ignore the one-sided effort to finally bring peace to Israel.

In the meantime, pray for peace in the Holy Land.
