Where is the apology and resignation of your attorney general, Mr. President?

Roger Ailes’ letter to Fox employees

A memo from Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fox News Channel Roger Ailes to employees on the heels of the FBI’s seizure of the phone and email records of Fox News employees. “The recent news about the FBI’s seizure of the phone and email records of Fox News employees, including James Rosen, calls into question whether the federal government is meeting its constitutional obligation to preserve and protect a free press in the United States. We reject the government’s efforts to criminalize the pursuit of investigative journalism and falsely characterize a Fox News reporter to a Federal judge as a “co-conspirator” in a crime.”

Gov. Palin’s Breitbart Exclusive: “Going Rogue in the Wrong Direction”

sarah-palin-nbc-ap-o4pstates

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin this morning debunked Obama’s claim to only have known about IRS corruption and targeting of conservative groups from watching the news. This article was originally published on Breitbart News.

As more information about the IRS scandal trickles out daily, the White House’s involvement is becoming clearer. Those of us who’ve been warning about the demise of freedom with Barack Obama’s efforts to “fundamentally transform” our great nation are about to witness some sad vindication. Will awakened Americans finally join us in saying “enough is enough”?

The president would like us to believe that he only learned about the IRS corruption from watching the news. But we recently learned that the White House was actively working with the IRS on how to roll out the story of this scandal. So, Mr. President, how can you have your staff work on the roll out of the biggest controversy since Watergate, and yet claim that you only heard about it by watching the news with the rest of us?

For the president to deny any knowledge of what was brewing and to claim to know nothing about the Benghazi cover-up or anything about anything White House-related lately, he’s either a liar or a hugely incompetent CEO. You decide.

Gov. Palin wrote about IRS officials pleading the Fifth to cover their hides and how the scandal goes beyond harassment. The IRS leaked confidential information to leftist reporters. Gov. Palin said the scandals are a hallmark of a bloated, over-reaching government that has become unaccountable for its actions.

HS Student’s Tenacity Wins Gov Palin Graduation Speech

SarahNET-Radio-O4PStates

Getting former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to speak at the Republic High School graduation was an idea born in an English class discussion Tyler Weyer, senior class president said on the Palin Update with Kevin Scholla. Initially, the students considered other teachers or a prominent member of the community. When Gov. Palin was suggested, both English teacher Mike Lust and debate coach Liz Bremner advised Weyer to “start now.” He said Bremner was “an amazing influence” through his high school career and helped him tremendously “through the entire Palin process.” He knew the odds, but pursued the dream with steady determination and made it reality.

Weyer wrote a letter on school stationery, signed by the principal Shawn Anderson and sent it off to Gov. Palin’s parents — Chuck and Sally Heath. He got a response from a Palin aide thanking him for the invite and saying, “we’ll see what we can do.”

we-want-you-gov-palin

Some months passed then Weyer and the senior class posed in school sweatshirts with a banner that read, “We want you, Governor Palin.” The school librarian Kelly Scriver posted the picture on Facebook and Twitter, Gov. Palin saw it, and agreed to speak. Weyer then exchanged emails, followed by a conference call with Gov. Palin’s scheduler.

Weyer said, “Sarah Palin is pretty popular in our class….when she ran for Vice President in 2008, I was personally blown away….she came from a small town like Republic, was able to rise up and become governor of a state and was able to run for Vice President. That’s not an everyday job.”

He shared her resume with his class, and they joined him in support. He did a Sarah Palin skit each year in debate class. “It really says something about her character that a national prominent figure would come to speak to a graduating class of 27.”

He said Gov. Palin would appreciate a town like Republic, since she has spent her life in small towns.

Weyer said his family, friends, the school, and community have expressed surprise, shock, excitement and pride over Gov. Palin speaking. Some have offered lodging for her. Gov. Palin turned down offers to speak at major colleges and universities. She is also covering her personal expenses for the Republic speech.

Weyer plans to study political science and said his school has has had serious discussions about history and current events. Gov. Palin’s commencement address will be the most significant event ever held in Republic’s gym, though the school has a state-recognized basketball and volleyball team and a solid athletic program.

The principal reason Weyer supports Gov. Palin is because he “truly believes she feels in her heart what every ordinary American feels,” and she speaks to issues that affect everyone.

Gov. Palin recognized Scholla’s Exclusive: Palin’s Mother Discusses Cherished Mother’s Day Moments with Sarah in a Facebook Status and Tweet. “Thank you so much, Governor. It is an honor to be recognized by you, and it was a true pleasure to interview your mom. What a great lady,” Scholla said.

Steel Resolve: Abuse of Power, No Accountability Underpin Obama’s Scandals

The two themes that underpin the Obama administration’s scandals are governmental abuse of power and lack of accountability, Sarah Steelman said. She said Obama has taken no responsibility for these breaches of trust. She quoted Jefferson and said Obama’s regime is tyrannical.

SarahNET Radio Teaser, Downloadable Audio

Tyler Weyer is on The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla! Weyer and his classmates wanted Sarah Palin to speak at their high school graduation in Republic, Washington and thanks to some good old fashioned sticktoitiveness, the Governor has agreed. Palin will address a graduating class of 27 students next month. Weyer tells Kevin why Palin was the choice for his class and he discusses the reaction around the small tight knit community. Sarah Palin pulls no punches when discussing the Obama administration’s failures regarding the IRS and Benghazi. Plus, Palin endorses Jason Smith in Missouri and comments on the Gosnell verdict. Also, a Mother’s Day bear hunt and Sarah Palin showcases Kevin Scholla’s article on Sally Heath. Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary with Sarah Steelman is featured as well.

Gov. Palin: Obama’s Scandalous Hat Trick

sarah-facebook-o4p

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

Scandalous Hat Trick

Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Today in the Rose Garden you dismissed the idea of a Special Counsel to investigate the IRS scandal. With that, your galling political hubris shined bright in the midst of today’s dark clouds.

Mr. President, how can we trust your Justice Department to conduct an independent investigation when there is a systemic violation of the Hatch Act throughout your administration?

Surely you are aware that the Hatch Act prevents certain federal employees from engaging in political activity. Specifically, it’s illegal for these federal employees to engage in action in support of or in opposition to a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.

Yet that is exactly what’s happened within the IRS, the Justice Department, and in the Benghazi cover-up. This scandalous hat trick is on your watch. It is not believable that you knew nothing about Obama administration actions in dealing with these scandals. And in regards to Benghazi, when you should have taken appropriate action to save American lives – for instance by calling in the Marines – you were AWOL. Just weeks before the election your team scrubbed the Benghazi talking points in 12 different versions, lied to the American people about some YouTube video being to blame for the deaths of brave Americans who put our country first, and you prove Michael Barone right when he writes, “What actually happened in Benghazi was out of sync with the Obama campaign line.” That’s why you all did what you did. Pure raw politics were at play during a horrific time of loss.

For more evidence of Hatch Act violations right under your nose, simply consider DOJ’s “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into the free press. Do you think they picked up some political talk when tapping the phones in the House press gallery?

Your team is out of control. Those who cannot remember the past and learn from it are doomed to repeat it, and that is exactly what is happening. Look back exactly 40 years ago this week and apply that disheartening chapter of American history to the team you’ve chosen and lead today.

Some of us warned America; we cautioned voters in 2008 that a community organizer with no executive experience and no sense of accountability would be a very poor choice for the nation’s top management position.

Mr. President, you said today that you have “complete confidence” in the Attorney General. America doesn’t. Eric Holder needs to appoint an unbiased Special Counsel to investigate the illegal political action of this administration. And then Eric Holder needs to resign.

Most Americans see ominous dark clouds looming beyond the White House Rose Garden, Mr. President. They’ll roll away only when light is shined on the Obama administration’s antics, and America will only recover when you cease avoiding responsibility in this mission of yours to fundamentally transform America. For that to happen, the press had better learn from their experiences of being duped and provide a deserving public fairer, more intelligent coverage.

Speaking of coverage, glad you finally called in the Marines… shame it was just to hold your umbrella.

Gov. Palin: Jason Smith for Missouri’s 8th Congressional District

sarah-facebook-o4p

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

Jason Smith for Missouri’s 8th Congressional District

Jason has worked tirelessly to build on the foundation of his humble beginnings and is a responsible and respected leader in the Show Me State. In Washington DC, Jason will maintain that innate sense of his community and will bring his commonsense conservatism to the halls of Congress. Jason recognizes that government is the problem, not the solution. He will protect our 2nd Amendment rights and work to promote a culture of life. We must all work together to send Mr. Smith to Washington on June 4th.

Gov Palin: “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”

sarah-facebook-o4p

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

“The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”—a phrase so simple, yet so profound in its expression of a mother’s importance. Mothers have been entrusted with the responsibility of raising life’s most precious resource—our children.

I appreciate my mom and the example of love and grace she has been throughout the years. Thank you, Mom!

Todd and I also appreciate the honor of being the parents of five wonderful kids and two amazing little grandkids who have enriched our life together in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, and Trig are my life, and being joined now by Tripp Easton and Kyla Grace, I know that no matter what is going on in the world around me, they are the ones who keep me grounded. They are my daily reminders of what really matters.

Even as we celebrate Mother’s Day with family today, please stop to think of the many mothers who are separated from loved ones serving in the military and keeping us safe. I've been there, and especially today my heart goes out to those Blue Star moms who are missing their sons and daughters, while being so very proud. More than ever my heart extends to the precious Gold Star moms who are spending today holding on to memories of a child who paid the ultimate price. Whether it's been far away in specified combat zones, or attacks globally throughout the ongoing battle to defend our republic, or nearer home as the result of terrorist acts like Ft. Hood, the sacrifice of our military personnel and their families has not been in vain, and we will never forget.

Moms, whatever your plans today, know that you are appreciated year-round. One day is not enough to capture the essence of who you are, what you do, and the difference you make.

Driving in our truck this morning up towards Mt. McKinley, hauling kids and trailering snowmachines to launch on a trek to look for bear before the spring snow melts, I wish you a Happy Mother’s Day, and God bless you!

Mother’s Day Exclusive: Sally Heath, Sarah Palin’s Mom On The Joys of Raising Kids

palin-and-sally-heath-o4pstates

by Kevin Scholla as published on SarahNET and Breitbart.

This weekend, Americans pay tribute to mothers, grandmothers, and great grandmothers all across the country. Some families are lucky enough to be anchored by women who excel at being all three. There’s a family you may have heard of in Alaska that happens to be included in that fortunate bunch.

Sarah Palin is a household name worldwide. The former Governor of Alaska and first GOP Vice Presidential nominee is as famous as it gets. Many of her family members enjoy a following of their own as well. Todd Palin is a world champion Iron Dog racer. Bristol Palin is an author, blogger, and a two-time Dancing With The Stars competitor. Even Governor Palin’s dad and brother Chuck Heath Sr. and Chuck Heath Jr. have a throng of fans after writing the very enjoyable book Our Sarah: Made in Alaska. But while all of these Palins and Heaths may be better known, all of them are likely to point to someone else as the backbone of the family.

Sally Heath rarely gives interviews. She does not seek the spotlight. Unlike her daughter, Sarah, you’ll never catch her tweeting or posting a major political message on Facebook. Mrs. Heath enjoys playing her role away from the limelight. Her role however, while perhaps unnoticed by the media machine, has been critical in shaping her family.

While Sally Heath may be soft spoken, she isn’t shy when it comes to the pride and love she feels for her family. That’s understandable. Mrs. Heath raised four successful, thoughtful, caring children who all went on to raise superlative families of their own. According to Mrs. Heath, one of the keys to raising children is knowing when to help and knowing when to step aside. “You do what you can for the kids, but they choose their own way and you pray they’ll stick to the morals and teachings they’ve received over the years,” Heath said. “For the most part I would say we have been blessed that way, but I have to give credit to so many family members and friends too because Chuck and I, and the kids and their friends too, we’ve just all lucked out with the most wonderful things in whatever communities we live in. We’ve had good influences on the kids.”

Mrs. Heath may be a bit modest. Ask her children or her husband and more credit is usually heaped upon her.

Mrs. Heath contends that instilling a firm foundation in children when they’re young will serve them well as adults. Sarah Palin and her siblings seem to prove that theory true. “Just the fact that they’ve worked hard for everything they’ve achieved, they certainly didn’t come to us for finances or very seldom for advice, thank goodness, because I’d hate to be responsible for giving them advice”, Heath said. “If we’re going to get credit for the good things they’ve done, that means we have to be blamed for any mistakes they’ve made, so they have pretty much been on their own.”

Of course as little ones Chuck Jr., Heather, Molly, and Sarah were not on their own. They were given crucial guidance from their mom. Chuck Heath Sr. often credits his wife for teaching the Heath children to serve God. Sally Heath takes her Christianity seriously and she has passed that on to her children. “The faith has been pretty central for the family, that’s for sure,” Heath said. “I have faith myself and the kids found that was something worth striving for, or accepting. That is wonderful because it sure brings a lot of peace of mind because every family has issues and boy you need that strength that faith can bring.”

Sarah Palin often talks about leading with a servant’s heart. You can clearly see where that comes from.

As we honor moms this weekend, Sally Heath vividly remembers the special times she spent with her children on Mother’s Day. “Especially the ones where they would get up and fix the breakfast,” Heath said. “Get the breakfast, bring it upstairs to bed, those are my best memories of the kids taking over the house for the day and just letting me do whatever I want. Those were wonderful times and it hasn’t changed much, I’m sure, with their kids. Their kids seem to carry that tradition on, taking care of their mothers too.”

As far as the breakfast concoction put together by little Sarah and her siblings, Mrs. Heath would eat it no matter how strange the ingredients may have been at times. “It didn’t matter,’ said Heath. “They had cereal with whatever they could find around the house to make it look pretty: the raisins or the graham crackers. It was always fun to have. And cocoa, instead of coffee. It was pretty nice.”

Sarah Palin is a unique figure in our country’s fabric. She’s an innovator. So it’s no wonder that she has always been creative. Her mother fondly remembers one Mother’s Day gift from a young Sarah. “She made a card one year,” Heath said. “I still have it. It was just so clever because the kids always made fun of me because I’m so thankful for the little things. You know, find a nickel in the washing machine or just little things I seem to always be thankful for. The sunshine or the pretty music in the morning. So Sarah made a very elaborate Mother’s Day card with pictures of what she thought looked like me and making those comments about everything that she remembered me being thankful for. She was clever at doing things like that.”

There is no text book for being a mother, and different isn’t always better or worse. Sometimes different approaches can be equally effective. For instance, Sally Heath’s style is not the same as Governor Palin’s. “Things are just different now, of course,” Heath said. “When the kids were real little, I was certainly home more because we didn’t have the conveniences to make household chores go faster and easier. I just worked half days and that’s just wonderful because that’s when the kids were all in school, but nowadays it’s so common that women are out of the house all day long, but when they’re home they sure do work hard.”

Different approaches with similar results. Sally Heath raised four wonderful kids. Sarah Palin is raising five loving children. Both mothers are doing it right.

Mrs. Heath also credits men like her son Chuck Jr. and son-in-law Todd for getting their hands dirty in the tough job of child raising. “The man pitches in and helps so much,” Heath said. “It’s just wonderful that dads carry so much of the load. Like you, going out, coaching for your kids, watching them all day after you’ve worked eight hours.”

Mrs. Heath throwing a compliment my way. It’s just like her to turn the focus away from herself to compliment others. Even in an interview setting she has the well being of someone else in mind. Sally Heath is the real article. She is ‘as advertised’ by her loved ones.

Nowadays, Sally Heath is busy being a grandmother. All of her children have families. Mrs. Heath is even a great grandmother since Track Palin and Bristol Palin both have little ones. Mrs. Heath gets the chance to witness something not everyone gets to enjoy. Watching a granddaughter raise a child. “That is really something to see,” Mrs. Heath beamed. “I wish I could spend more time with her. The patience that these girls have, now with their kids, and the enjoyment that they have. They find time to play with the kids and to just watch the kids develop more. So it’s fun to watch Bristol and Tripp and she can enjoy and really appreciate each stage of development.”

It’s evident that Bristol Palin is doing a tremendous job being a mom, just like her mother and Grandmother.

Some sage advice on mothering from Sally Heath, a woman who has succeeded in this arena. “One of the keys is listening, without judging,” Heath said. “Look them in the eye and honestly pay attention to what they’re saying. I wish I had more just listened, they’re so interesting, and every day I knew they had things to share with the family, and you just get so caught up in the duties around the house, it’s too easy not to take the time to listen to them. Really there’s so much teaching to do without saying a word to them. You are the way you act and if you want your children to be like you, you better be towing the mark all the time. They’re very observant and they don’t forget the slip ups that we all make.”

Judging by the way the Heath kids turned out, the Sally Heath slip ups were few and far between. Happy Mother’s Day to all the great mama grizzlies out there, doing their best for their cubs each and every day.
