Richmond County Tea Party Patriots endorsed Lisa Giovinazzo for NYC City Council District 50 at a press conference on April 30 in Staten Island’s Von Briesen Park. American Grizzlies United announced its support of her candidacy immediately following the Tea Party Patriots’ announcement.

Bobby Zahn, President of the Richmond County Tea Party Patriots gave a Palinesque endorsement speech that lasted 3:12.

American Revolution Site Chosen for Announcement

DSC_0005

“We’re standing here today gathered near the gates of Fort Wadsworth, because this site played an important part in the American Revolution. It’s this patriotic spirit that inspired Tea Party groups like ours to organize in defense of our liberties — liberties that are under assault from career politicians who want to run our lives,” Zahn said. “Here in our own city — especially in our own city — the government has been captured by the idea that they can tell us what we can eat, what we can drink, what we can say and how to act. Up until now, there has not been a single strong voice in our legislature opposed.”

DSC_0009

“We have gone along to get a pothole repaired or to get our names on a trash can. As liberty-minded conservatives, we believe people know better than government how to run our own lives. This is why we favor citizen legislators over career politicians. Frankly, we were appalled by the next-in-line good-old-boy mentality that was being thrust upon us in an attempt to give us no choice but a career creature of the system,” he said.

DSC_0012

Peer of the Electorate, Not the Ruling Class

“Lisa Giovinazzo is not a bureaucrat jumping to the next title through seniority. She’s a private sector person — a peer of the electorate — not the ruling class. Lisa Giovinazzo says everything a conservative wants to hear, but that’s not really what’s important,” Zahn said. He continued, “what’s more important than what she says is her demonstrated willingness to stand up to the system — even to the elites in her own party who are trying to keep her down. Given this, there is no questioning Lisa Giovinazzo’s resolve to buck the system and City Hall — a system that most sane people recognize is woefully broken.”

Staten Island’s Sarah Palin?

“Of course, she arrives on the scene with an impeccable resume for a citizen legislator. She’s a mother, a wife, a former White House correspondent, a professor, a community activist, and a small business owner. So, she really understands us. This is who we are. These are the same things that we are.”

DSC_0017

“As I said, she’s appeared to those who she’s asking for their vote, not appeared to the political elite. She’s also a veteran in the trenches of electoral politics.”

DSC_0019

“For years, she’s been fighting for conservative principles by helping to elect Republicans to office. When the government stops answering to the people, we need to send regular people to the legislature to fix it, not a bureaucrat who already works there.”

DSC_0025

“There is no doubt in our view that Lisa Giovinazzo is the clear choice for conservative-minde Republican voters, and the citizen that we need in City Council. Therefore, we are very pleased to be here today with Lisa to declare our unwavering support,” Zahn said.

Giovinazzo Accepts Tea Party Patriots’ Endorsement

DSC_0026

“It is my pleasure to accept your endorsement. I think the Staten Island Tea Party Patriots are a wonderful group of people who share strong values and recognize our freedoms. I applaud the efforts of your party in particular — the people standing here — has been truly focused on the issues that are important, not just the issues that are popular, and I’m very grateful to have your support,” Giovinazzo said.

“I know that you’ll be an integral part of my campaign. Many of you have already volunteered, and supported me at the headquarters, walking in the streets, and I really look forward to getting to know each and every one of you better than I do already and I’m very, very thankful for your support,” she said.

DSC_0038

Tom Wrobleski of The Staten Island Advance covered the press conference and asked Zahn how Richmond County Tea Party Patriots will be supporting Giovinazzo. Zahn said a number of his members are already walking door-to-door and volunteering. He plans on holding a fund-raiser for her in his backyard and said the organization plans to give her any type of support she needs. Wrobleski also referred to AGU’s backing of Giovinazzo in his story.

Why we Have Two Tea Parties on Staten Island

DSC_0040

Wrobleski asked Zahn about formation of Richmond County Tea Party Patriots. As previously reported, “the Richmond Tea Party Patriots were formed out of dissatisfaction with the Staten Island Tea Party’s alliance with the local Republican Party establishment, and the performance of Congressman Michael Grimm who in the main has abandoned the conservative values he ran on. Rep. Grimm is, however, assisting Giovinazzo by walking door-to-door with her and his mentor, Guy Molinari is Giovinazzo’s campaign manager, which she disclosed to the group.”

“I don’t think we have a Staten Island Tea Party. That was long-gone, shut-down, shut-up and put out when Frank Santarpia took a job with Mr. Oddo, and he went against all principles of a Tea Party,” Lisa Mercaldo, a member of Tea Party Patriots said. Mercaldo also sits on the Republican Executive Committee and said she never even met Giovinazzo’s opponent Steve Matteo. “I don’t even know what the man looks like. We are supposed to vet the candidate, we are supposed to interview the candidate, and they are not doing that,” Mercaldo said about Sartapia who is a co-founder of the Staten Island Tea Party and an aide to City Councilman Oddo, who is running for Borough President. Giovinazzo and Matteo are vying for Oddo’s seat. As previously reported, Matteo declined a Richmond County Tea Party Patriots invitation to be publicly vetted.

“I don’t think it really would be a surprise who Frank Sartapia and the Staten Island Tea Party are backing. I mean, how could the guy go against his boss? How could he make a fair judgement and be able to even consider Lisa Giovinazzo,” Zahn aked.

Giovinazzo Challenges Opponent to Debates

DSC_0042

“I’ll say in that regard that everybody you know who is seeking elective office, who wants to be your representative, I once again am welcoming my opponent to a series of debates,” Giovinazzo said.

DSC_0044

“I think it’s important that the constituents of mid-Island see who we are and what we stand for,” she continued.

DSC_0045

“And I think it’s important that we see what we’re made of, so again, I am challenging him to a series of debates. I think it should take place as quickly as possible over the next couple of weeks, because this is a very important election,” Giovinazzo said.

AGU Announces its Support of Giovinazzo

lisag-devito-1

In announcing AGU’s support of of Giovinazzao, I said,

As NY State Coordinator for American Grizzlies United I am looking forward to the Lisa Giovinazzo campaign for New York City Council District 50, and getting the word out to AGU-NY’s volunteers about her candidacy. We are proud to support a candidate who understands the proper role of government and who offers Bold Colors – no Pale Pastels.

LisaG-devito-2

Both Richmond County Tea Party Patriots and AGU publicly vetted Giovinazzo last Thursday during a Richmond County Tea Party Patriots monthly meetup.

Our work continues.

Gov. Palin: tribute to clear-sighted Senator from Bluegrass State

My tribute to the clear-sighted Senator from the Bluegrass State, Rand Paul…

Rand Paul: The World’s 100 Most Influential People | TIME.com

When the Tea Party movement wanted to send a message to the Senate in 2010, it elected a clear-sighted eye doctor from the Bluegrass State. In a D.C. too often defined by the venal equivocations of a permanent political class more interested in consolidating its own power than in upholding the Constitution or defending the common good, Senator Rand Paul is a voice of reason awakening the public to what must be done to restore our prosperity and preserve the blessings of liberty for future generations.

@AGUGrizzlies Use #NowIsTheTime to Tweet #2A, #Protect2A Messages

AGU-Plead-2nd-O4PStates

The White House under Barack Hussein Obama has hijacked the late President Ronald Wilson Reagan’s campaign slogan, “Now is the Time” to use in a massive Twitter campaign in support of the administration’s blatantly unconstitutional gun control initiatives. The initiative was reported on Reddit, a left-leaning social bookmarking site.

Call to Action

#NowIsTheTime for us to re-hijack this Twitter tag. Conservatives of all stripes are urged to use #NowIsTheTime along with #2A and #Protect2A and carpet-bomb the Twittersphere with pro-gun, pro-Second Amendment Tweets.

#NowIsTheTime for each of us to recruit at least five others to follow suit in on our carpet-bombing of Twitter with this hashtag, #2A, and #Protect2A.

#NowIsTheTime to support, stand with and promote @TedCruz, @SenMikeLee, and @InhofePress are working to #Protect2A. Feel free to add more names to the good list.

#NowIsTheTime to tell @BarackObama, @SenFeinstein, @HarryReid, @NYGovCuomo, and @MikeBloomberg these two Greek words:

IMG_5860

MOLON LABE!

sarah-with-bolt-action

Come and Take it!

#NowIsTheTime to stand up and tell the world:

  • #2A is not about hunting
  • #2A is part of the Bill of Rights
  • It’s a Bill of Rights, Not a Bill of Needs
  • #2A is what gives our Constitution meaning, protects us from tyranny
  • We will #Protect2A from the Nanny / Police statists
  • When we are confronted with evil, we are the first responders and #2A guarantees us our right to defend ourselves
palin-fb8

While, we’re at it #NowIsTheTime to tell the #GOPe at @GOP: You will NOT get a penny in donations from us until you purge those who neither adhere to our Constitution nor the party’s planks. If you don’t #Protect2A or work against #2A we absolutely will not support you; we will work relentlessly to ensure you are voted out of office. We will donate to the Bold Colors candidates and PACs of our choosing: specifically those who #Protect2A and understand #2A is one of our most cherished rights. We will NOT spend our hard-earned money on pale pastels. We will revive, renew, restore, and rebuild this party and our country one way or the other.

#NowIsTheTime to tell Boehner that can’t just start giving conservative speeches in 2014 while he ignores us and the Constitution now by failing to #Protect2A among other things.

#NowIsTheTime to tell the Ruling Class: Enough is Enough. We’re tired of crony capitalism, auto-crony capitalism (so called when politician and crony are the same person), and the infringements on #2A.

Finally, #NowIsTheTime to tell this administration we will not stand by while they jack the words of a man who was a real leader: Ronald Reagan.

Silly Liberals Dead Wrong on Palin Demise

rumors-death-exaggerated-o4pstates

Ed. Note: The lies are continuing with Alinskyites continuing to claim that Fox News “fired” former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin when the truth is she left of her own accord to broaden her reach as delineated by Kevin Scholla below and in False Stories Spread on Gov Palin’s Departure from Fox. Now, haters are obsessed with the “$15.85 cost per word” of Gov. Palin’s contract insinuating that she somehow bamboozled the network or that her pay was “excessive.” For three years, Fox News and Gov. Palin had a contract, the terms of which — including compensation — were negotiated and agreed to by both sides. That ends the whole “$15.85 per word” conversation right there.

By Kevin Scholla, PA State Coordinator
American Grizzlies United / Organize4Palin

For someone who is so irrelevant, so yesterday’s news, they sure as heck talk about her a lot. Ever since it was announced that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would not renew her contract with Fox News, the glib, celebratory comments have poured in. The Left wing blogosphere erupted. Mouth breathers in moms’ basements nationwide took to social media. Even the paid political hacks made sure to get their shots in. ‘Ding dong! The Mama Grizzly is dead!’ The only problem is they couldn’t be more wrong.

Just because countless liberals have a weird, visceral hatred for Sarah Palin, doesn’t mean they should incorporate falsehoods into their rants. We get it. You don’t like her. You apparently have an aversion to hardworking, honest, patriotic, Christian women. You have distaste for a daughter, wife, and mother who fought her way up the ranks from mayor to governor to vice presidential candidate, and did so without any special assistance from the establishment. Why these accomplishments would be frowned upon is a topic for another day. Although Dr. Melfi probably had an easier time dealing with Tony Soprano’s inner demons than any therapist who would dare delve in to the sick head of a Palin Derangement Syndrome sufferer. The point here is, when spewing your hate, at least be factual.

The false meme being thrown around since the Palin-Fox News split is that she was canned or let go. Some outlets are asking ‘Is Palin’s Career Over?’. Others have flat out called the race. They talk about a fading star and irrelevancy. Never has the much overused ‘LOL’ been more appropriate than right now. Saying Palin is irrelevant is like saying Casey Anthony is a good mom or Lance Armstrong is known mainly for his honesty. Those who push this narrative not only come off as total buffoons, but they should be first in line for the NFL’s enhanced concussion studies program. Clearly there is some sort of brain injury here.

Howard Kurtz wrote one particularly idiotic article titled ‘Sarah Palin’s fall from media stardom’. Kurtz is the host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources”. Talk about an oxymoron with the emphasis on the last two syllables. In the story, which is nothing more than a classic ‘time to get back at the cool kids’ hit piece, Kurtz assigns Palin snarky monikers like ‘half-term governor’ and ‘exiled politician’. What does that mean? Palin could have run for The White House in 2012 but chose not to. Her decision. Just like she decided to not return to Fox. Palin still has a future in politics if she desires to explore one. Kurtz writes (and I think he’s being serious) that Palin “never quite had the impact of, say, a Karl Rove as a Fox talking head”. He’s right about that. While Palin-endorsed candidates this last election cycle had a 75% success rate, Rove wasted hundreds of millions of dollars, only to post a pathetic 1% positive showing. While Palin warned of death panels and called out the GOP establishment for constantly giving in, Rove was busy predicting a Romney landslide. No contest in this match-up, folks.

Predictably, Kurtz also gets in a shot at our Second Amendment. No liberal writing today would be complete without a chic gun grab comment. He calls the use of cross hairs on Palin’s political action committee site ‘unwise’. Kurtz points to the aftermath of the Gabby Giffords shooting and Palin’s subsequent dealings with Roger Ailes as her ‘low point’ at Fox. Says who? Palin disagreeing and not being afraid to stand up to powerful men is not a negative. It’s what makes her great.

The overall idea of Kurtz’ article is that Palin’s stock has fallen. I guess he wasn’t at CPAC this past February for Governor Palin’s keynote speech. A crowd that acted like a mime convention for many speakers erupted as if Hendrix came back from the dead when the Wasilla Warrior hit the stage. I guess Mr. Kurtz and the twitter brigade of malcontents didn’t pay attention to the myriad of Republican candidates yearning for a Palin endorsement for their campaigns. Ted Cruz beamed when reporting his campaign phones lit up like Christmas trees immediately after receiving an official blessing from Palin. Ask Deb Fischer, Orrin Hatch, Jeff Flake, Paul Gosar, and Ted Yoho how meaningless Palin support is. All rolled to victory after receiving a Palin endorsement.

The hate of Palin and misunderstanding of her political power makes the Left look even worse than usual. Leaving Fox by choice has opened up many doors for Palin. She can now appear on other networks to express her views while continuing to promote commonsense conservative candidates. Her power in the 2014 primaries could be especially important considering the building sentiment from Tea Partiers to get rid of as many of the spineless, milquetoast, GOP incumbents as possible. Sarah Palin leaves Fox in a great position. While Karl Rove and the other pundits continue to spew meaningless garbage, Palin will be making a real difference, working to elect Constitutionalist candidates. Perhaps one of those candidates may be Governor Palin herself. Oh, the crow that will be eaten then.

False Stories Spread on Gov Palin’s Departure from Fox

lies-crosshairs-o4pstates

Real Clear Politics reported on January 23 that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was not renewing her contract with Fox News. Scott Conroy cited an anonymous source “close to the Palins” as saying, “It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement.” Gov. Palin re-affirmed this account in an interview with Stephen K. Bannon, Producer of The Undefeated on Breitbart News and announced by her in a Facebook Status post. Bannon asked Gov. Palin, “what’s next for you?” She responded:

“I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience” (emphasis mine).

No one from Fox News has disputed Gov. Palin’s account in any way, shape or form.

Despite the simple facts being what they are, a disturbing array of false stories have been published to the effect that “Fox News dumped Sarah Palin,” and that she is “irrelevant.” These phony stories have appeared in the usual left-wing publications such as Huffington Post.

Simply put, Fox News offered Gov. Palin a renewal contract. She declined it so she can bring her message to a larger audience. By staying with Fox, her contract would have precluded her conducting interviews with other networks, except with rare prior permission. Renewing the contract would have meant more preaching to the choir — because Fox News’ audience is Gov. Palin’s choir so to speak. Those who say that Fox “dumped her,” are telling lies, plain and simple.

The original Breitbart interview now has over 3,800 comments. The people who claim Gov. Palin is “irrelevant” cannot stop talking about her. When our Second Amendment came under attack, a major Tea Party group did not reach out to those some would consider “relevant.” They called out to the “irrelevant” one: Gov. Palin. That Facebook post yielded nearly 181,000 likes and 13,725 comments. How many “relevant” people would kill for these numbers? Time Magazine’s Senior Editor Mark Halperin acknowledged on the Today Show that Gov. Palin still “has so much star power.”

Nor, is Gov. Palin’s relevance strictly in the political realm. She is speaking at a leadership conference in March and is the gala keynote at a major event commemorating Terri Schiavo.

Fox News like any other TV network lives and dies by ratings. If you lose your ratings, you lose your show and no TV network is going to keep you a day longer than they need you. Irrelevant people are not offered contract renewals and most often don’t even get to complete an existing contract. If Gov. Palin’s ratings had tanked and she had ceased to be relevant, Fox News would have cited poor ratings and the decision to not renew would have been theirs. But, Gov. Palin’s ratings were strong and Fox offered her the renewal. As previously reported and stated — she declined the renewal so she can broaden her reach to new markets.

Gov. Palin is highly relevant. Her potential reach to markets outside Fox News strikes fear and loathing in the hearts of her enemies, because she remains — as Stephen Bannon put it — an existential threat to the way they conduct business.

"Palin: ‘We Haven’t Yet Begun to Fight’"

sarah-facebook-o4p

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted this Status Update on Facebook:

Palin: ‘We Haven’t Yet Begun to Fight!’—Exclusive Interview with Breitbart News
www.breitbart.com
In my research for the film I made on Governor Palin, The Undefeated, I was constantly amazed at the anti-establishment stands she took at every step in her rise to power. Moves that a conventional politician would run from, she embraced: in Wasilla, in Juneau, and in the rise of the Tea Party.

Retrieved from: http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin/posts/508289715890287.

Ed. Notes:

Following are salient points and quotes from Gov. Palin in this interview with Breitbart News:

Gov. Palin plans to jump out of her comfort zone and reach broader audiences, not merely preach to the choir. This is likely the basis of her decision to not renew her contract with Fox News.

“Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine.” She continued, “We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.”

For her long-term future, Gov. Palin said, “the door is wide open.”

Gov. Palin said Obama’s first term was a very good predictor of his current one. About 2012 and lessons learned, she said, “Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008. Granted, those same voters also didn’t turn out for Obama as strongly either.

Gov. Palin continued, “we had an election defined by a biased media plus millions of voters who sat it out in disgust. As long as we allow the media and GOP establishment to tell us who our nominees must be, we can expect to lose. I’m not interested in losing. America’s next generation can’t afford another loss.”

In answer to a question on whether the Tea Party movement is dead, Gov. Palin responded, “I was raised to never retreat and to pick battles wisely, and all in due season. When it comes to defending our republic, we haven’t begun to fight! But we delight in those who underestimate us.”

SarahNET Radio Interviews ‘Cigar Marine’ Popaditch on Congressional Run

Nick Popaditch visits The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla! Sergeant Popaditch gained fame as the ‘Cigar Marine’, fought bravely in the battle for Fallujah, and ultimately suffered an injury that has left him with one eye. Now as he’s looking to fight for us in a different way he runs for Congress in California. Also, Governor Palin weighs in on our soaring gas prices, the latest Romney-Obama debate, and Reverend Billy Graham. Plus, SarahNET Radio‘s Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary from Sarah Steelman.

Baghdad to Fallujah…

Nick Popaditch is running for Congress in California’s 53rd Congressional District. He is an American Grizzlies United General Election Candidate. Popaditch enlisted as a Marine at age 18, served six years, returned to civilian life as a corrections officer, then re-enlisted and was sent to Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. His unit toppled the statue of Saddam Hussein in Baghdad. A year later, Popaditch lost one eye after being hit in the head by a rocket-propelled grenade during the first battle of Fallujah. Military doctors were able to save his other eye.

Citizen Statesman…

He has since gone back to school and written books. Popaditch said he is running to “restore and retain prosperity and freedom.” He said a person serving in elective office should ask four questions: “is it the will of the people? Is it constitutional? Is it legal? Is it ethical?” If the proposed action meets all four criteria, it should be executed. He said the federal government “is the tip of the spear” in keeping us free and that US Representatives are the local link to the federal government. Popaditch said we are seeing a renaissance of the “citizen statesman” — a private citizen who puts his or her life on hold, serves in office, then returns to civilian life. Scholla noted that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has endorsed people from all walks of life including soldiers, dentists, veterinarians, and business owners.

Reagan-Conservative Principles…

Popaditch’s military doctrine is simple: fight for victory or withdraw immediately. He blasted the 10% military cuts and sequestration as irresponsible and said that career soldiers who have served over 10 years in combat are being pink-slipped and sent home so retirement benefits do not have to be paid. He lauded Mitt Romney’s proposed policy of taking counsel from the Joint Chiefs of staff. Popaditch said a good leader delegates, but even having never served knows when his or her reports are not doing the job and fires them if need be.

Popaditch said private sector growth is the engine that creates jobs and thrice repeated the phrase, “private sector growth” to drive the point home. He said the Keystone XL pipeline should be opened, drilling should resume in the Gulf and new drilling should take place. Popaditch is a strong believer in energy independence. He said ObamaCare should be repealed, along with other irresponsible legislation, and over-burdening regulations. Popaditch said it’s long time for politicians to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming lobbyists who do not create legislation. “Dirty government is dirty government,” he said. “The engine works. It’s the oil that needs to be changed.”

Popaditch’s website is popaditchforcongress.com.

Steel Resolve: Hang Together or Hang Separately

In this week’s “Steel Resolve” segment, former US Senate candidate for Missouri, Sarah Steelman opened with Benjamin Franklin’s quote on unity: “We must indeed all hang together, or we will indeed all hang separately.” She spoke about Obama’s “us against them” mentality, race- and gender-baiting, and class warfare. She said Obama is a divisive force in our nation whose solution to our economic crisis is to spend more and tax the wealthy to pay for it. She said government’s role “is not to make all people equal but to ensure that all people are treated equally under the law.”

No 2012 POTUS Run – One Year On

One year ago, today former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced she was not running for President. The complete transcript of her announcement as published on Mark Levin’s page follows:

October 5, 2011
Wasilla, Alaska

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.

From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.

Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Thank you again for all your support. Let’s unite to restore this country!

God bless America.

– Sarah Palin

Gov. Palin has always led with a servant’s heart. It never was about herself. While on the April 3, 2012 Today Show, Gov. Palin said, “there is no perfect candidate, and you know, I would warn voters to never put their faith wholly in an individual — in a politician — because a politician will disappoint you. But, have faith in what that politician stands for, what their record represents….” See the segment of the video from 1:19 to 1:35:

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

With that decision, Gov. Palin led us into uncharted waters and she called upon us to trust her. Surely, if we trusted Gov. Palin enough to be the leader of the Free World, we should be able to trust her with her choice not to be. In the months that followed, Gov. Palin chose to focus on the down-ticket races, so as to give our new President the Congress he needs to put our country back on the right track. Gov. Palin would also announce her clear and unequivocal support of Mitt Romney. This is why Gov. Palin’s message on Romney and a listing of her Bold Colors Candidates are prominently placed on the US for Palin website.

American Grizzlies United/Organize4Palin is working to ensure that on November 6, we retain the House, seize the senate and ensure that our new President of the United States has a Congress of common-sense, constitutional, conservative public servants, which aligns 100% with Gov. Palin’s goals.

O4P is once again helping candidates endorsed by Gov. Palin, while AGU is working to elect down ticket candidates on the local level.

Gov. Palin put her ego and herself aside. She focused on the big picture and took the long view. Purging and cleansing the Republican Party will not be done in a single election cycle. This will take many cycles. We — her supporters — are working on this goal, as individuals, and via organizations such as AGU/O4P.

No one — perhaps not even Gov. Palin herself — knows what her political future will be post-election. Will she continue as she is through the 2014 mid-terms? Will she run for another office? Will she start a new project in or out of politics? These are all unknowns.

As critical thinkers, we heed her caution that no human being is perfect and that all human beings disappoint at some time. But, we do have faith in her record and what she stands for. Gov. Palin has earned our trust.

Our work continues.

@AGUGrizzlies: #DingBat Debbie Wasserman Schultz (@DWStweets) Or @Karen4Congress You Decide

Besides repealing and replacing Barack Obama in November, there is another thorn in the side of our Republic that needs tending to.

#DINGBAT ALERT: Wouldn’t it be fun to fire Nancy Pelosi’s #DingBat mini-me Debbie Wasserman Schultz!

(Special #DingBat BONUS: CLICK HERE to see Debbie Wasserman Schultz tell four lies in less than sixty seconds – could this be a record for America’s most life-like talking points robot?)

We have a chance to do this in November. Together, we can #WiseItUp and send #DingBat Debbie back to Florida and send Karen Harrington to DC.

Karen Harrington is on the AGU 2012 General Candidates List: HERE

Recently, Karen sat down to talk about taxes on the show Facing South Florida in Miami. #Dingbat Debbie was invited to appear on the show with Karen. However, Debbie was too afraid of Floridians seeing the stark contrast between her endless Obama propaganda and Karen Harringtons free market ideas and tax simplification.

Let’s #WiseItUp in November and send Karen Harrington to the US House. Karen will roll up her sleeves and get to work. It’s time to un-do what Obama has done to us. #DingBat Debbie is a big part of the problem, and with our help Karen Harrington can be a big part of the solution!

Our work continues.
